Image:Crystal Clear app gadu.png Greetings Retinas!!

This is my first time posting anything on Wikipedia. It's high time i contribute a tinsy piece of academia to our collective unconscious.

For those who care, I, as a source and contributor to Wikipedia, am a Psychology and English student at the University of Toronto (it be in Canada yo!). Alright, now that i've gotten the school cred out of the way, let's move on.

It is through Wikipedia that i hope to expose you all to a wide range of prominent and/or emergent theories, concepts by noteworthy theorist -- pretty much anything really. I hope you all enjoy the ride. Now to read the 5 pillars of Wikipedia :P Although, i must admit, there is something oddly perplexing about reading the rules of a site purported ungoverned by them :p But alas people, i'm doing it, and so should you. As clichéd as you know it is, "you have to work within the system to effectively subvert it for the beneficence of the masses" -- okay, so i know that exact quote, itself, doesn't actually exist anywhere, but the theme re-inscribes itself in ever freaggin' triumph narrative ever told...so imma give Wikipedia a read, and do you all a service -- the service of reciprocity. Let's give google a run for its money.

But, before we do, in the meantime, new wikipedians: save your work on your own computers just in case dumbass users decide to vandalize your work.

So, say "hey", before, or after making improvements to my articles by simply clicking the discussion tab at the upper hand side tab (second to the left) and then clicking new section on the upper left side tabs. The tabs don't stay the same people, they change once you click on them. Tricky and confusing if you ask me. But anyway, hopefully, i can someday be as helpful as figureskatingfan :) --ToasterCoster (talk) 01:54, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

K i'm having an OMG-why moment!
How do you post an article? How is it that the #1 first thing in the user guide isn't how to post an article. What do i bloody click to post the article. This is absolutely ridiculous. i think i found something wikipedia needs to change. I have no clue how to post an article. This is absolutely ludicrous! I DON'T WANT TO EDIT AN ARTICLE I WANT TO CREATE ONE....OMG!!!! WHY IS THIS THING SO @#($(#*$&ING CONVOLUTED!?! ToasterCoster (talk) 01:34, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Image:Crystal Clear app gadu.png Welcome, USERNAME OF NEW WIKIPEDIA USER!

Hello, "User name of new Wikipiedian" and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm ToasterCoster, one of the thousands of editors here at Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using only four tildes in a row, i.e., ---> (~~~~), but don't put them in parenthesis like in this example which was necessary for html coding reasons. The four tildas will automatically produce your name and the date. You can also do this by clicking on the Image:Signature icon.png icon. You may also think about creating an account, which will make it easier for you to track your own edits. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Here's another useful template you can post on someone's talk page which actually people, is essentially the discussion board. Basically, when you click on discussion, that person will later access it from their talk page option. When when you want to leave someone a message, click discussion, then click, new session to post, title your post, (or just indent it with a few colons if your adding another thought to your prematurely sent comment) and then you can add this little gem:

Template:Notice

make sure to keep the 's on the end of your username once you insert it in the above coding :)
